Holmen sells holding in Norrköpings Hamn

Aug 10, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. Holmen has signed an agreement to sell its shareholding in Norrköpings Hamn och Stuveri AB (Norrköping Port & Stevedoring) to the municipality of Norrköping, Sweden. The sale requires the approval of the municipal council. The proceeds of the sale of Holmen's shares amount to SEK 109 million, which will be taken into the accounts for the third quarter.
Holmen is a forest products industry group with an annual production capacity of about 2.7 million tonnes of paper and paperboard. The predominant market is Europe, and the group has an annual turnover of about SEK 19 billion. It employs some 5 000 persons. The Holmen share is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange Large Cap.
