Feb 13, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Latvian Bleste is discussing the project of production line construction on the territory of the former Sloksky pulp and paper mill. The investments are expected to reach to LVL 3 million ($5,7 million). The production line is to be mounted on a site of 8 thousand cub m. The necessity to increase present production capacity emerged due to the demand growth by national and foreign customers. Bleste is a major manufacturer of port equipment: spreaders, grabs, traverses, scoops and other metal goods, as well as terminal roll-trailers. The company exports its goods to Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden and Finland. 10% of total production volume is sold in Latvia.
