Feb 18, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Koppers Holdings Inc. reported 4Q net income of $75 million, or $3.66 per diluted share, up from $5 million, or 24 cents, for the final three months of 2007. But while revenue was up, sales weren’t. Sales for the three months ended December 31 were $288.9 million, down 6.6% from the comparative quarter in 2007. The company attributes the drop to lower sales in its Carbon Materials & Chemicals division. For the full year, Pittsburgh-based Koppers posted net income of $138 million, or $6.65 per diluted common share, compared with $63.3 million, or $3.03 in 2007. Sales for the year were $1.36 billion, up from $1.26 billion in 2007. Koppers is a global integrated producer of carbon compounds and treated wood products.
