Latvia and South Korea discuss timber cooperation

During the meeting in Seoul, a memorandum of understanding was signed to improve links between the foreign ministries of both countries. Latvia's foreign ministry claim the agreement will form a "solid basis for an enhanced political dialogue in future".
Both delegations agreed there is a vast potential for existing Latvian-Korean relations to be expanded into new fields.
The focus for this cooperation was on transport, logistics, the timber industry, IT and tourism, Latvia's foreign ministry said.
