In meeting of the Supervisory Board of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG Franz Rappold, Andreas Blaschke, and Oliver Schumy have been unanimously reappointed members of the Management Board for a further period of five years, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. The new term will start on May 15, 2010 and will end on May 14, 2015. The mandate of the Chairman of the Management Board, Wilhelm Hörmanseder, was already prolonged last year until December 31, 2014. Franz Rappold 27 years with Mayr-Melnhof and since 2002 member of the Management Board, will continue to be responsible for the Cartonboard Division’s (MM Karton) sales and marketing activities. Andreas Blaschke 18 years with Mayr-Melnhof and member of the Management Board also since 2002 will continue his mandate as board member for the Packaging Division’s (MM Packaging) sales and marketing activities. Oliver Schumy 12 years with Mayr-Melnhof and since 2008 CFO was prolonged in his function. The Mayr-Melnhof Group is the world-leader in coated recovered cartonboard and Europe’s leading manufacturer of folding cartons. Mayr-Melnhof’s operations are entirely concentrated on the core business areas which are managed in two operative segments MM-Karton and MM-Packaging.
