Mar 31, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Metso Paper will supply a coated board production line to Shandong Bohui in China. The start-up of the production is scheduled for the second half of 2009. The value of the order is around Euro 100 million. Metso's delivery will include a complete coated board line with related air systems and two winders. In addition, Metso Automation will supply an extensive automation package, which includes machine and quality controls with runnability and condition monitoring systems. The board machine will produce close to 1,400 tonnes of folding boxboard per day. The line will include the latest technology developed by Metso, enabling raw material savings and ensuring excellent printability of the board. Shandong Bohui Paper Group employs approximately 5,000 persons. The annual paper and boardmaking capacity is around 850 thousand tonnes.
