Mitsubishi HiTec Paper plans a worldwide price increase for its thermoscript Point-Of-Sales thermal papers effective as of February 1, 2010, varying according to currency area, the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. Prices for raw materials have been increasing for some time. So far Mitsubishi HiTec Paper has absorbed these additional costs and avoided raising prices for as long as possible. After the cost increases in the past months, this is now no longer possible, the company said.
