Aug 27, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Steve Purcell is returning to Mumford & Wood Limited from 7 September 2015. In his new role Purcell will be responsible for new business development across the UK with specific emphasis on architects and specifiers in London and the south east, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Steve Purcell previously worked for Mumford & Wood for 14 years working as national sales manager and latterly as regional sales director.

“This is the right move to make and I’m looking forward to being part of the successful team at Mumford & Wood again,” says Steve Purcell, business development manager, Mumford & Wood. “There’s a great deal of work to be done with our specifier customer base and we have a lot of technical information to share. A significant number of specifiers are regularly downloading technical content from our new website, incorporating CAD drawings into their plans and referring to NBS+ specifications. In addition we have a RIBA assessed online CPD and another on the way. It’s great to be able to offer valued customers this degree of support.”

Mumford & Wood has been working towards BIM (Building Information Modelling) to help architects to deliver a digital 3D model, with a complete data base, for the window and door element of the project. Mumford & Wood is way ahead of their competitors in the development of the Conservation™ product range in BIM format. This will allow architects to decide on the specification format they require for their project and use Mumford & Wood’s BIM model data to reach the required performance.
