PCA and Boise announce early termination of HSR waiting period
Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) and Boise, Inc. announced that the Federal Trade Commission has granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 in connection with the previously announced acquisition of Boise by PCA.

the Federal Trade Commission has granted early termination of the waiting
period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 in
connection with the previously announced acquisition of Boise by PCA.
The transaction remains subject to other customary closing conditions.
PCA is the fourth largest producer of containerboard and corrugated
packaging products in the United States. PCA operates four
paper mills and 71 corrugated product plants in 26 states across the country.
Boise Inc. manufactures a wide variety of packaging and paper products. Boise's range of
packaging products includes linerboard and corrugating medium, corrugated
containers and sheets, and protective packaging products. Boise's paper products
include imaging papers for the office and home, printing and converting papers,
and papers used in packaging, such as label and release papers.
