Papyrus finalises the acquisition of Arto Emballasje AS in Norway

The all-cash acquisition was completed following approval by regulatory and competition authorities. The Norwegian company, which specialises in the wholesale of industrial supplies and packaging, will become part of the Papyrus Supplies business area.
Feb 13, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Papyrus has finalised its previously announced acquisition of 100% of the shares in Arto Emballasje AS. The all-cash acquisition was completed following approval by regulatory and competition authorities, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
The Norwegian company, which specialises in the wholesale of industrial supplies and packaging, will become part of the Papyrus Supplies business area.
The transaction is an important complement to strengthening Papyrus position in the area of facility supplies and packaging in the Nordic region and is in line with the previous recent acquisitions in Scandinavia of StädgrossImporten in Stockholm and StädCentralen in Gothenburg; both completed in 2011.
Papyrus is a leading European merchant in paper, facility supplies and industrial packaging. The company is currently present in 22 countries across Europe and employs some 2 700 people.
