May 04, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Raute's 1Q net sales totaled Euro 10.4 million, down 8% on the 1Q 2009. The decline in net sales resulted from the timing of deliveries in the order book. Net sales was, however, up on the last three quarters of last year, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network.
Russia's share of the total net sales was 45%, Europe's 21%, North America's 20% and the share of other market areas 14% .
Operating profit was Euro 1.4 million in the negative and accounted for -13% of net sales. The 1Q result was negative due to low net sales, company said.
Result before tax for the reporting period was Euro 1.4 million in the negative. Result for the reporting period was Euro 1 million in the negative.
The outlook for net sales and profit has remained unchanged. Net sales for the entire year 2010 will increase and operating profit will improve from 2009. Achieving a positive operating profit and its amount will depend on the order intake by the end of the summer.
