Rengo announces additional capacity at joint venture paper mill in Vietnam
Rengo announces that Vina Kraft Paper, its joint venture containerboard mill in Vietnam, has decided to proceed with construction of additional containerboard capacity. Vietnam’s 2014 demand for containerboard was estimated at 1.3 million tons, and is forecast to expand approximately 6-10% due to an influx of export-oriented foreign direct investments and a growing consumer base.

proceed with construction of additional containerboard capacity.
Vietnam’s 2014 demand for
containerboard was estimated at 1.3 million tons, and is forecast to expand
approximately 6-10% due to an influx of export-oriented foreign direct
investments and a growing consumer base.
With this new capacity, Vina Kraft Paper will maintain its leading
position in Vietnam’s containerboard
market and aim for sustainable growth in the country. Furthermore, it will also
strengthen its integrated production system from containerboard to corrugated
packaging.
