Dec 05, 2003. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Kotlassky pulp and paper mill owned by Ilim Pulp Enterprise will double investments in production development in 2004 compared with 2003 to $66,8 million, company’s public-affair’s told Lesprom.ru.
Investment projects expense will reach $34,6 million, capital repairs investments will reach $32,2 million.
Commercial pulp production will reduce 2,5% to 304 thousand tons in 2004 compared with 2003, package cardboard production will increase 33,1% to 342 thousand tons, paper production will go down 14,5% to 206 thousand tons.
In accordance with the Ilim Pulp plans on Kotlassky long-term development commercial pulp production will increase 58% to 493 thousand tons in 2004 compared with 2003, package cardboard production - up 56,8% to 403 thousand tons, paper production - down 12% to 212 thousand tons.
