The spokesman added that in money terms, Russia's log timber exports increased 18.8% on the year in January-November to U.S. $1.5 billion.
Exports of unprocessed timber to non-CIS countries in the period amounted to 33.47 million cubic meters, up 16.5%, worth $1.49 billion, up19.1% on the year.
Exports of sawn lumber stood at 4.78 million tonnes, a 17.4% increase on the year, worth $788 million, up 23.6% on the year.

The spokesman said that plywood exports in the period reached 1.058 million cubic meters, up 11.6% on the year, worth $257 million, up 14.8% on the year.
Paper pulp exports reached 1.706 million tonnes, up 5.1% on the year, worth $503.2 million, up 4.8% on the year.
Exports of newspaper paper were down 0.3% on the year in January-November to 1.041 million tonnes, worth $348.9 million, down 22.3% on the year.
