Jul 19, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. The Board of Directors has appointed Hannele Arvonen, currently in charge of Iggesund Mill, as President and CEO of Setra, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Michael Bertorp, Chairman of Setra, comments: “Hannele Arvonen will complement Setra’s management structure with her acknowledged motivating and business-oriented leadership skills. Her experience of change management is a strength in the ongoing efforts to sustainably improve Setra’s profitability.”

Hannele Arvonen joins Setra from the Holmen Group, where she has held a number of leading positions since 2007. These include Mill Manager at Iggesund Mill and Hallsta paper mill. Hannele Arvonen was also responsible for sales support and subsequently Production Manager and Site Manager at M-real AB. She also worked as Market Manager at Metso Paper AB. Prior to that she worked as a salesperson for sawn timber in Europe and paper products in Russia.

Hannele Arvonen will take up her new position in autumn 2013. As previously, the Acting CEO is the company’s CFO, Stefan Lundin.

Setra is one of Sweden’s largest wood products companies and a leading player in Europe. The company offers eco-certified wood products for interiors and construction to customers in the building materials trade and industry.
