Dec 23, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Slovenia's total value of roundwood purchased in October 2014 amounted to Euro 3.6 million, which is about 47% more than in the previous month. The value of purchased wood fuel was higher by more than 57%, of sawlogs and veneer logs by almost 49%, of pulpwood by about 36% and of other industrial roundwood by more than 40%, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The total value of roundwood purchased in October 2014 was almost 23% lower than in October 2013, mainly due to lower quantity of purchased wood. Of the individual categories of wood, the value of purchased wood fuel was higher by more than 60%, while the value of pulpwood was lower by more than 48%, of sawlogs and veneer logs by about 19% and of other industrial roundwood by more than 12%.
