U.S. kraft paper shipments decreased by 1% in January-April 2015
U.S. kraft paper shipments in April 2015 were 145.7 thousand short tons, flat compared to April 2014. Bleached kraft paper shipments increased from 8.9 thousand tons in March 2015 to 11.9, while unbleached kraft paper shipments decreased from 138.5 thousand tons to 133.8.

shipments in April 2015 were 145.7 thousand short tons, flat compared to April
2014, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in the press release
received by Lesprom Network.
Bleached kraft paper shipments increased from 8.9 thousand tons in March
2015 to 11.9, while unbleached kraft paper shipments decreased from 138.5
thousand tons to 133.8.
Overall, shipments for the first four months of 2015 were 1% lower than
the same period in 2014. Total month-end inventories decreased to 79.6 thousand
tons.
