Mar 26, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. Weyerhaeuser Company announced on March 23 the appointment of Guy C. Stephenson, 55, as president of Westwood Shipping Lines. He succeeds Craig A. Lawrence, 57, who retires from the company after 17 years of service, on April 20. Mr. Stephenson is currently senior legal counsel at Weyerhaeuser and has been with the company since 2001. He has provided support to Westwood in many contractual, regulatory and other legal areas, and led the business for six months in 2006 when Lawrence was assigned to another project. Previously, Mr. Stephenson was a partner at the Portland, Oregon, law firm of Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt, specializing in maritime law.
