On April, 15 all-Russian Lesprom.ru timber industry award ceremony was held in National hotel, The laureates of the award are: Ust-Ilimsky timber industry enterprise as the ‘most dynamically developing company in the pulp and paper industry’ Fancom as ‘the most dynamically developing company in the timber-processing industry’ Electrogorskmebel corporation as ‘the most dynamically developing company in the furniture industry’ Ilim Pulp as ‘the most information transparent company of the year’ Mondi Business Paper Syktyvkar for the particular contribution in the protection of the environment’ Kotlassky pulp and paper enterprise as ‘the investment project of the year’ Vostochno-Sibirsky ferro-concrete enterprise as ‘the new brand in the sector’ Ecodrevprom as ‘the most active member of Lesprom.ru’ Cherepovetsles for ‘the efficient forest management’ Tyulyulyukin Evgeny (Russian forest newspaper) – as ‘the journalist of the year’ Kommersant-East Siberia for ‘the best publication in the regional media’ Chairman of the board of judges, head of the Federal Timber Sector Agency said: ‘Lesprom.ru award became the catalyst of the positive changes occuring in the sector. We have singled out the most reliable and distinguished companies and people, who have significantly contributed into the development of the timber sector.’ The Ministry of natural resources of the Russian Federation awarded Arkhangelsky pulp and paper enterprise with a special nomination titled ‘The most strategically important project in the timber sector of the Russian Federation’, member of the State Duma Alexander Krupchak was awarded for the ‘active participation in the discussion of the Forest Code’. The laureates were awarded with the honorable prizes and diplomas. Lesprom.ru award is awarded to timber industry companies and journalists contributing into the development of the Russian timber sector. The award was founded by Lesprom.ru information and trade system. Global Edge is the general sponsor of the award. The organization committee includes Global Edge, Mondi Business Paper Syktyvkar. Representatives of the largest Russian and Foreign timber industry companies took part in the award, as well as Russian officials and foreign diplomats.
