Atlas Paper Mills has formed a new executive team to lead the company’s transformation into a more prominent supplier of paper towels and tissues, primarily for industrial and commercial markets. Rosa Thuemler has been promoted to President and CEO. She was previously CFO. Maria Figueroa Byrd has joined the company as CFO. She was previously a senior manager with Grant Thornton LLC. Joseph G. O’Brien has been appointed VP, Sales and Marketing. He previously held sales management positions with JohnsonDiversey and Procter & Gamble’s commercial markets division. Atlas Paper Mills has been manufacturing 100% recycled paper products since 1981. The company was acquired by Palm Beach Capital in 2006. Currently, Atlas Paper’s 450 thousand square-foot facilities have two papermaking machines and seven converting lines producing bathroom tissue, facial tissue and paper towels. All paper manufactured by Atlas is from 100% recycled waste paper. The company services customers throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
