Nov 12, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. Barlinek Group will close its wood processing plant in Kosovo (Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Kosovo plant produced wood flooring blank for mill in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. The net loss of Barlinek’s plant in January-September 2013 increased by 1.8% to PLN 405 thousand ($126.5 thousand). Sales down 5.8%. The company management's efforts to optimize activities of the mill have not improved profitability.

Barlinek Group plans to sell the equipment, buildings and land of wood processing plant in Kosovo.
