C&M Conveyor, Inc. appoints industry veteran Mark Surprenant as its new regional sales manager for the Southeast Territory including Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and eastern Pennsylvania, the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The appointment is part of the company's ongoing growth initiative to increase capacity, reduce response times, add industry expertise and focus on helping its customers be more competitive in the marketplace.

Surprenant previously served as area general manager and operations manager at Interstate Container in New England and South Carolina. Prior to that, he was senior staff engineer at PCA Packaging Corporation of America in Winter Haven, FL; site manager for Temple-Inland in Orlando, FL and Fort Smith, AR; and production manager for Weyerhaeuser Company in Olive Branch, MS.
