Fibria sells Piracicaba paper mill to Oji Paper

Fibria has signed an exclusivity agreement with Oji Paper Co.Ltd., valid to September 29th, for negotiating the sale of the Piracicaba Unit (São Paulo state), for an estimated price of around $313 million, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
The Piracicaba mill has the capacity to produce 160,000 tons per year of carbonless and uncoated woodfree papers. The mill is also ISO 14001-certified.
