Feb 25, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Investments in Russian Komi timber sector increased 45% to RUR 1,8 billion in 2003 compared with the prior period in 2002, republican ministry of industry reported. RUR 81 million were invested in timber industry, RUR 415 million – in timber-processing industry and RUR 800 million in pulp and paper industry. Neusiedler Syktivkar topped the list of investment project, as well as Zheshartsky veneer mill, Severlesol and other timber mills.
