Sep 14, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Stavropol region-based Nevinomysskiy Azot OJSC which belongs to Evrokhim chemicals company started construction of melanin production line, as Evrokhim PR Director Vladimir Torin informed Lesprom Network. It is to become the first production of its kind in Russia. The company invested Eur 180 million of own funds in the project. The line will produce 50,000 tons of melanin and will replace the old lines, due to this the enterprise will decrease its pollution volume by 40 tons annually. The launch of production is scheduled for 2011.
