Jun 08, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Carter Holt Harvey Limited today announced the appointment of Robert Grillet to its Board effective 8 June 2005. Mr Grillet replaces Chris Liddell who stepped down from the Board last month following his appointment as Chief Financial Officer at Microsoft Corporation. Mr Grillet is the Vice President of Finance and Controller at Carter Holt Harvey’s parent company International Paper (IP). “Bob brings strong financial and operational experience to the Carter Holt Harvey Board,” said Chairman John Maasland. “We are pleased to welcome him, and look forward to his contribution.” Mr Grillet joined International Paper in 1976 where he has held various senior management positions.Prior to taking up his current role of Vice President of Finance and Controller in 2003, he led a division of IP’s distribution business, xpedx, which generated revenues of over $2 billion. He now has global responsibility for financial reporting, business analysis, financial policies, credit and collection, accounting shared services and internal financial controls.
