The project capacity of the enterprise is 70 thousand cub m of particleboard/yr. The mill will provide particleboard for the building and furniture industry. The mill will create 300 jobs, besides the project will employ the workers from the neighboring forestries that will supply raw timber, UralBusiness Consulting reported. The mill will be built with the participation of Chelyabinsk region and Trehgorny local governments, Chelyabinsk government will invest RUR 200 million. Project will be a joint-stock company, 75% to be owned by Trehgorny. Governor Petr Sumin said that the project is a socially essential one. ‘There’s no necessity for us to be owners of the enterprise, and in case we find an investor ready to cover the expenses from the regional budget, we will sell our stake’ he added.
