Portucel denies interest in buying Finland's M-real

BPI bank had cited a report in Finnish media saying the struggling M-real may be split in parts and divided between Portucel, Stora Enso and UPM.
"We have absolutely no knowledge of the report and the origin and source of the information that names Portucel group among those eventually interested in the acquisition," a company spokesman said.
"Until now, Portucel's option has been organic growth and we ramin focused on this option," he said, adding though that the company would evaluate other investement options.
