Belgian Kappa Turnhout invests Euro 2.5 million in cardboard machine

Nov 16, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Kappa Turnhout, the Belgian unit of Dutch paper and board packaging producer Kappa Packaging, has invested Euro 2.5 million in a new machine for corrugated cardboard.
The new machine will increase the production of cardboard to 200 million square meters per day from 160 million, at present.
In Turnhout, northern Belgium, the company produces 1.4 million boxes daily, mainly for the food industry, with a 300-strong staff.
Kappa Packaging operates in the production, development and sale of containerboard, solid board, graphic and specialist board and corrugated and solid board packaging.
