Jul 15, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. The Chinese Zhongshun Paper Industry Group Co. Ltd., in order to satisfy the growing demand of high quality tissue, has signed a contract with the Italian paper machine manufacturer Toscotec, for the supply of a tissue line with an average production of 70 tpd. The new line will be started up in second half of 2010, Toscotec repored. Zhongshun, established in 1979, today is in the process to enter the Chinese stock exchange market, and is one of the biggest tissue producers in China with 5 production sites located in different regions: in southern part in Zhongshan and JiangMen, in centre part in HuBei, in eastern part in Zhejiang, in western part in Sichuan, and in northern part in HeBei. The company yearly total production is higher than 200.000 tons. The company owns famous brands among which "C&S", "Clean&Soft" and "Sun. Mr. Deng Ying Zhong, Zhongshun's President, said he will fully support the continuing group expansion. Toscotec's supply includes state of the art AHEAD 1.5 crescent former tissue machine with single-layer headbox and double press configuration, 16' Steel Yankee Dryer (TT SYD 16FT), machine auxiliaries, stock preparation plant for virgin pulp, electrification and control system. Machine speed will be up to 1500 mpm with a net trim width of 3450 mm. Toscotec machine has been studied and designed in order to fulfil the demand of the Chinese market being characterized by the low availability of natural gas. The new concept of the AHEAD 1.5 maximises the contribution of the large diameter Steel Yankee Dryer to the drying process and guarantees the highest evaporation at the lowest energy consumption.
