Nov 02, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. EBRD has allowed Kronospan Ukraine syndicated loan of Euro 60 million. The proceeds will be directed in installation of productive capacities for production of particleboard in Novovolynsk in the northern-western Ukraine, EBRD press-service reported. After installation of these lines Kronospan Ukraine will produce standard and melamine-coated particleboard used in production of domestic and office furniture as well as equipment for kitchens and shops. Kronospan Ukraine is owned by Kronospan Holdings East Limited, part of Austrian Kronospan Group. EBRD is the largest financial investor in Ukraine. As of October 2006 it incurred obligations for investment assignment to the total amount of more than Euro 2.4 billion within 120 projects.
