The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has extended the validity of Schweighofer’s FSC® certificate for a period of five years, until 28 September 2020, following an exhaustive audit conducted at the company’s facilities in Romania by an independent third party in the period June – July 2015, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The renewal of the FSC® certificate is further evidence of Schweighofer’s commitment to conducting its operations in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner, while also assuring the company’s partners of full transparency with regards to the supply of the wooden raw materials used to produce their FSC® certified products.
