Hapaco to invest $850,000 in Taiwan

Hai Phong Paper Joint Stock Co (Hapaco) has recently received an overseas investment licence from the Ministry of Planning and Investment to establish Vietnam-Taiwan Trade Ltd Co with a total investment capital of 14.45 billion dong ($850,000) in Taiwan, as Vietnam Stock Market News informed Lesprom Network.
Under the licence, the subsidiary headquartered in Taiwan's Kaoshung City, with a lifespan of 36 years will specialise in trade and export import services.
Reportedly, during the first two months of this year, Hapaco gained 55.217 billion dong ($3 million) in total revenue, equalling to 94.2% of the same period last year, and 2.568 billion dong ($147,000) in profit, or 15.6% of the same period 2008. This month, Hapaco targets 35 billion dong ($2 million) in revenue.
