AS Toftan from Estonia Vorumaa has ordered six drive-through chamber kilns type HCHD from Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc. with annual capacity of ca. 130 000 cubic metres when drying 25 mm spruce to 14 % final moisture content. The new chamber kilns will be taken into production in October 2016.

chamber kilns type HCHD from Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc. with annual
capacity of ca. 130 000 cubic metreswhen drying 25 mm spruce to 14 % final
moisture content. The new chamber kilns will be taken into production in
October 2016, as the
company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The
drying kilns can be used for drying of pine and spruce timber with thicknesses
of 25 – 75 mm from sawn green timber to the final moisture of 8 – 18%.
