Jul 27, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. IlimSeverLes (Arkhangelsk region, Russia, owned by Ilim Pulp corporation) finished the spring-summer reforestation season for 2005. RUR 3.1 million was spent on the project, corporate public-affairs announced. During the spring-summer period the company accomplished more than 80% of the previously planned reforestation activities. Reforestation has being carried out on a total square of 10 thousand hectares, including 973 hectares of mixed forests, 564 hectares – softwood forests. Soil preparation was carried out on 581 hectares, by autumn another 200 hectares will be prepared. IlimSeverLes will spend around RUR 5 million on reforestation in 2005.
