Feb 14, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. In 2013 total volume of lumber exports from Russia increased by 8.6% to 12.1 million tons year-over-year, as Federal Customs Service of Russia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The volume of Russian exports of roundwood for the reporting period amounted to 19.05 million cubic metres, (8.2% more than in the same period last year). Worth of roundwood export amounted to $1.46 billion, lumber – $3.65 billion

18.49 (+7.9%) million cubic metres of roundwood worth $1.6 billion were shipped to other countries in 2013; to CIS countries – 560.3 thousand cubic metres worth $ 40.3 million.

8.8 (+5.4%) million tons of lumber worth $2.77 billion were shipped to other countries; to CIS countries – 3.29 (+17.7 %) million tons worth $883.8 million.
