Metsä Group announced annual maintenance stoppage at Kemi mills
Due to the annual maintenance work production stopped at the Metsä Group Kemi mills. The shutting down of normal production processes at Metsä Fibre started on Friday 13 September and at Metsä Board Saturday 14 September.

Kemi mills. The shutting down of normal production processes at Metsä Fibre
started on Friday 13 September and at Metsä Board Saturday 14 September, as the
company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Maintenance work will be performed during the stoppage by the mill’s own
personnel as well as by some 750 employees of our cooperation partners.
A gradual restart of production operations will commence on Friday 20 September
at the Metsä Fibre Kemi mill and on Tuesday 24 September at the Metsä Board
Kemi mill.
