Feb 16, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Metso will supply particleboard production line for LESNA TIP Itiski Vrh d.d. The supplies will start in autumn 2005. The launch is scheduled for 2006. Lesna will invest a total of EUR 20 million on the acquisition of equipment from Metso and on building infrastructure. Metso will also assist the company in the installation of the new line. The line will be equipped with ClassiFormerTM forming machines and Metso ContipressTM press machine with a length of 32 m (can be additionally extended by 6 m). The equipment will be installed on Lesna TIP enterprise located in the vicinity of Dravograd, Slovenia. Various types of timber will be used as raw material in production. Meanwhile Lesna will close the old particleboard production line. The new line reaches the production capacity of 330 thousand cub m and will become the largest one in Slovenia and on the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
