The innovative new space allows Michelman to bring administrative and finance personnel, the technical sales and marketing department, as well as chemists and scientists together in a collaboration-friendly environment.
A new lab within the facility includes a temperature and humidity controlled room, and dedicated analytical space that gives scientific teams greater control over experiments and testing.
Steve Shifman, Michelman’s President and CEO, was joined by Mr. Jean-Marc Verhaeghe, Michelman’s Managing Director, EMEA and many Michelman associates in welcoming customers, media and dignitaries to tour the new facility and view various product demonstrations in the new laboratory.
Michelman is a global developer of water-based barrier and functional coatings for flexible film packaging, paperboard, and corrugated cartons; and water-based surface modifiers, additives and polymers for numerous industries including wood and floor care, industrial coatings, inks, fibers, composites, and construction products.
