Mondi Packaging Paper Swiecie, the Polish paper making unit of the Anglo-American Group plc, was downgraded to 'reduce' with target price set at PLN 55, according to a recommendation from BRE Bank Securities first published February 22. The target price is a strong cut from the prior target of PLN 67. «The investment climate surrounding Swiecie is worsening,» analysts write, citing a poorer-than-expected dividend offer and weakening financial results. A strong zloty still stands ready to impact results in the first half of 2005, something that hasn't been seen in the weakening results posted to date, analysts warn.
