Feb 04, 2008. /Lesprom Network/. Pfleiderer AG has reached an agreement with the German firm Decopa Industries regarding the acquisition of assets of the edge manufacturer. Pfleiderer will acquire all material assets. Both parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. Decopa Industries, based in Leutkirch in the Allgau region, has already worked closely with the Pfleiderer Western Europe Business Center as well as its business units in recent years. The company has been successfully manufacturing accessory materials for furniture and interior fittings since 1983. “As a result of this merger, our processes in the sampling area and in sales promotion are improved considerably. As a long-standing partner of Decopa, we also appreciate the high standards in the production and distribution of Decopa products. Together, we can considerably increase the service level for our customers in the future and act as a solution provider in the object and accessories sector”, says Michael Wolff, chairman of the Management of the Western Europe Business Center of Pfleiderer AG.
