Jun 22, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Romanian paper maker Pechart Tec said it was investing Euro 8.0 million in modernizing its equipment and raising its annual output capacity, SeeNews reported.
The company will start using a new tissue paper machine, with an annual output capacity of 1 800 tonnes, at the end of January, Pechart Tec said. The company now operates one machine with an annual output capacity of 600 tonnes of tissue paper.
The new machine will produce tissue paper from pure cellulose, to be used for toilet paper, napkins, towels and facial napkins.
Pechart Tec was set up in May 2005. It is part of the Metalicplas Group and it is located in Petresti, Alba county.
