Russian Eurasoholding purchased more than 50% of UK-registered MS United Ltd. shares (owner two timber-processing enterprises in Irkutsk region), Vostochno-Sibirskaya Pravda daily reported. New shareholders intend to expand timber-industry business through investing money into Priangarye-region timber enterprises with actual total production 53,8 million cub m. The company intends to purchase new enterprises in Ust-Kutsky district of Irkutsk region, MS United Ltd. public-affairs reported Timber business is a non profile trend for Euroasoholdoing, company representatives said. “We buy timber business as an independent business and it won’t be included into the holding”, - chief of Euroasoholding public-affairs Alexander Karlashov said. Euroasoholding shareholders purchased 36% of MS United Ltd. shares, previously owned by the European bank of reconstruction and development and individuals. MS United owns major enterprises in Kazachinsky-Leninsky and Ust-Kuta district. The company owns 83,31% of Kunerminskoe shares and 84,1% of Mikura shares with 50 thousand cub m and 60 thousand cub m/yr of total production volume respectively.
