The sawmill at the Norwegian Hauerseter facility will be closed while the planing mill will continue on a two-shift rotation. This change will entail an overall reduction corresponding to 17 full-time jobs, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
According to the schedule, the sawmill will remain in operation until mid-February.
A total of 17 full-time positions will be affected, mainly in production. Negotiations have been initiated regarding redundancies and these are expected to be completed at the end of October.
