Slovak wood processing company Bucina Zvolen posted a net profit of 67.9 million Slovak crowns ($2.2 million/1.7 million euro) for 2004, it was reported on April 7, 2005. No comparative figures were available. The wood processor generated a revenue of 612.2 million crowns ($20.3 million/15.7 million euro) for 2004. Bucina Zvolen plans its 2005 revenue to reach 583 million crowns ($19.3 million/15 million euro), the company's financial director Jozef Janos said. The wood processor's production totalled 626.3 million crowns ($20.7 million/16.1 million euro) in terms of value for 2004. Bucina Zvolen added value revenue for the year stood at 216.5 million crowns ($7.2 million/5.6 million euro). The company expects its production for 2005 to total 583 million crowns $19.3 million/15 million euro), and its value added revenue to reach 238 million crowns ($7.9 million/6.1 million euro). Bucina Zvolen plans to invest about 81.6 million crowns ($2.7 million/2.1 million euro) in equipment and technology upgrade in 2005, Janos added.
