Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood down 31% in August
Slovenia's total value of roundwood purchased in August 2014 amounted to Euro 2.2 million, which is 31% less than in the previous month. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 34%, of other industrial roundwood by about 32%, and of pulpwood by about 26%, while the value of purchased wood fuel was higher by about 2%.

roundwood purchased in August 2014 amounted to Euro 2.2 million, which is 31%
less than in the previous month. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs
was lower by about 34%, of other industrial roundwood by about 32%, and of
pulpwood by about 26%, while the value of purchased wood fuel was higher by
about 2%, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press
release received by Lesprom Network.
The total value of roundwood purchased in August 2014 was about 22%
lower than in August 2013. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was
lower by almost 30%, while the value of purchased wood fuel was higher by
almost 19%, of pulpwood by about 11%, and of other industrial roundwood by
about 3%.
