Feb 15, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased from private owners in December 2015 was Euro 4.2 million, which is almost 18% less than in the previous month (mainly due to lower quantity of purchased roundwood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 23%, while the value of purchased wood fuel and pulpwood was higher by about 27% and 3%, respectively.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in December 2015 was about 27% higher than in December 2014, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by 42%, and of other industrial roundwood by about 33%. The value of purchased pulpwood was the same as a year ago, while the value of wood fuel was about 18% lower.
