Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in October 2016 was worth Euro 6.5 million, which is about 19% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 21%, of pulpwood by about 8% and of other industrial roundwood by about 19%. On the other hand, the value of purchased wood fuel was higher by almost 35%.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in October 2016 was almost 71% higher than in October 2015, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by 78%, of pulpwood by almost 42%, of wood fuel by almost 40% and of other industrial roundwood by about 15%.
