Swedish VIDA established sales company in Japan
Nov 15, 2010. Swedish sawmiller VIDA has established a sales company in Japan as part of its strategy to sell direct to customers. Stephen Coyle has been appointed to head the operation, which will also offer other company’s products on the Japanese market.
Nov 15, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Swedish sawmiller VIDA has established a sales company in Japan as part of its strategy to sell direct to customers. Stephen Coyle has been appointed to head the operation, which will also offer other company’s products on the Japanese market, TTJ reported.
The news follows VIDA’s move to acquire a minority stake in Swedish wood marketing business Uni4Marketing, which sells timber to North Africa and Middle East markets.
Uni4 is also owned by SCA Timber, Holmen, Södra and Martinsons Wood.
