Nov 07, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. The company plans to establish a printing house in Prachin Buri to encourage more firms to export from Thailand's printing industry, said Charnvit Jarusombathi, vice-president for marketing. The new facility will also become training centre to produce better staff expertise and meet international standards in the business. It will include experts, cutting-edge technology and the most advanced printing facilities.
"People from leading printing markets such as Hong Kong and Singapore will be brought in for the project. The experts will help train Thais and create an international standard at the house. The facility will become the country's first printing standard centre, or export oriented printing training centre," he said.
The centre will also pave the way for staff of Advance Agro and its allies to take part in international training where they could experience world quality printing.
"They could learn about maintenance, sharpen their skills, and take good care of printing for international markets. This will provide new competitive advantage for the printing industry. We hope that the centre will become a leading venue to produce quality expertise of the region," Mr. Charnvit said.
Advance Agro also plans to export more stationery products, bearing Double A brand. Publicity and advertisements for Double A will help highlight the quality of printing in Thailand and gain the attention of international markets.
Double A is known internationally for quality paper products. After expanding its marketing campaign to eight more countries, it now exports its products to more than 60 markets.
"The stationery products will primarily target international markets. We are planning 80% of our outputs to serve countries in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Korea.
